Xilo Universe

The Xilo Universe, later known as Alpha Xilo after the discovery of its' alternate counterpart, is one of many universes that exist in the Known Multiverse and was discovered in 16 ATC (1853 NE) and connected to a number of similar universes under the 'ilo' and 'iau' naming structure, specifically Xilo is set some 3600 years into the past of Filo and Viau's discovery, although both universes key figures of this era, the Hero of Tython, the Barsen'thor, the Hero of Havoc, the Voidhound, the Empire's Wrath, Darth Imperius, Cipher Nine, and the Grand Champion of the Great Hunt being the biggest examples of such differences, for instance, the Barsen'thor in both universes were male and Darth Imperius was known as Darth Occlus in Filo and Darth Nox in Viau, however, the exact details of the differences have been lost to time, especially as both Filo and Viau had a thousand year dark age that resulted in many details about this era of galactic history lost.

History

During the midst of a second war between the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire, the Imperium of Man, one of the Alliance's major memberstates, suddenly invaded the Xilo Skyriver Galaxy sparking a brutal 21 year long war where Imperium forces spared no one and gave that galaxy a mere taste of the atrocities committed by them in the Fop'lla Universe. This only began to grew worse once the Axis and the Coalition became involved via the Combine Empire offering aid to the besieged Xilo Republic and Sith Empire and the Coalition offering membership to the Xilo Hutt Cartel. Eventually, largely due to the wider Alliance pressuring the Imperium to end the invasion, the Imperium eventually ordered a gradual, but bloody, retreat from the galaxy though some elements of the invasion force went out of their way to inflect as much horror and carnage as possible and took even more effort by the Alliance's government to get the Imperium to return any worlds they captured in those 21 years of conquest.

In 37 ATC (1874 NE) the Republic and Empire claimed victory over the Imperium, but it was a pyrrhic one, much of the galaxy lay in ruins, entire worlds left lifeless and the death toll were in the hundreds of trillions. Worse yet, the horror the Imperium inflected upon the Xilo Skyriver galaxy not only result in hundreds of Jedi to fall to the Dark Side, among them Xilo's Satele Shan, but caused double the amount of Sith Lords to fully fall into madness and created dozens of wounds in the force.

To make matters worse for now broken state of the galaxy, the Combine, the so-called "allies" of the Xilo Republic and Sith Empire, began to slowly show their true natures in a series of secret operations which only caused members of both sides to grew skeptical of their actions which, along with preexisting problems and instability facing both states, namely Saresh's increasingly dictatorial rule over the Republic and the Sith Empire's now crumbly state and the chaos of dozens of mad Sith Lords have brought to it, set the stage for the civil wars within the two superpowers. barely a year later, individuals began to investigate the Combine's actions which began a string of events for the next four years, ultimately leading to civil war within the two superpowers and the wider First Multiverse War coming to their version of the Galaxy once more.

For twelve years, the now Alliance-aligned Free Republic and Grand Empire fought against the Axis-aligned Xilo Republic and Sith Empire, fighting bitterly for control over their respected states all the while fending off the Coalition-aligned Xilo Hutt Cartel, who were forced to fight by their Coalition allies regardless of the Cartel's feelings on the matter, and the Eternal Empire of Zakuul, throwing their galaxy once more into war. But by the 5-year mark, it became clear to the Axis and Coalition that the Alliance would win the war for Xilo Skyriver and the response from both multiversial powers was horrific, the implementation of scourged earth tactics that destroy more worlds and killed trillions in the process. By the twelfth year, the civil wars ended and the conflict for control over the Xilo Skyriver galaxy was over with Alliance victorious, with the Free Galactic Republic annexing the Xilo Galactic Republic, the Grand Sith Empire annexing the old Sith Empire and both absorbing the territories of the Eternal Empire and Xilo Hutt Cartel, but the Xilo Skyriver Galaxy was even more ruined in the process and now quadrillions of beings were dead. In time, this period of Xilo galactic history would be dubbed appropriately the Dark Times given the death and destruction that it brought to it, but it slowly rebuild in time terraforming and reintroducing flora and fauna from their alternate versions to restore the galaxy to its natural state.

Over the course of centuries, the Free Republic and Grand Empire eventually rebuilt and largely recovered from the brutal wars that destroyed so much of their galaxy. Enough so that they began to send forces and resources to aid their allies in the wider war. However, the Grand Empire was slowly changing from within, one that the Sith traditionalists never thought possible, that being the spread of a Light-Side aligned Sith movement spearheaded by Imperius and Wraith, slowly reforming the Empire into something else completely until the Light Sith staged a largely bloodless coup and killed Emperor Malgus and propose a new unified government with the Free Republic. From there the two groups debating and discuss what this new government was structured and the roles the Jedi and new Light-side Sith would have in it. In 333 ATC (2170 NE), the Free Republic and Grand Empire effectively dissolved and the creation of the Xilo Federation, where it governed Xilo and a handful of territories outside of it until the creation of the Multiversial Federation in 1805 ATC (3642 NE), where it was dissolved and absorbed into the new multiversial government.
