The Zacreyvanian civil war is an ongoing multi-sided civil war in Zacreyvania fought between the Zacreyvanian Rewagar Republic led by president Arshad al-Rabbani (supported by domestic and foreign allies) and various domestic and foreign forces that oppose both the government and each other, in varying combinations.
Unrest in Zacreyvania began on 15 March XXXXNE as part of the wider 71 Region’s protests out of discontent with the Zacreyvanian government, eventually escalating to an armed conflict after protests calling for al-Rabbani's removal were violently suppressed. The war is currently being fought by several factions, including the Zacreyvanian Armed Forces and its domestic and international allies, a loose alliance of various opposition rebel groups (such as the Free Zacreyvanian Army), Religious based fundamentalist groups (including Al'atfal almawludin min alharb and Tahrir al-Khazan), the mixed Zacreyvanian Democratic Forces (ZDF), and the Rewagar State of Totreau and the Valoc (RSTV). The peak of the war was around XXXXNE; violence in the country has since diminished, but the situation remains a crisis.
